SEP invests in oil and gas or energy projects that can deliver an expected investment return in excess of its overall cost of capital.

Realising shareholder value

SEP realises the value in its investments through a mixture of the following:

• management fees for services provided to investee companies;
• dividends received from investee companies;
• profit or loss made from the sale of all or part of its investments; and
• Interest received from loans, financing investee companies, or from cash in hand.
